It's gorgeous! As for machine quilting, why not? I'm for finishing a quilt by any means necessary.
I have a quilt top that languished in my Grandmothers home for 40+ years and then in my Mother's home for another 30 years. It was the first quilt I ever worked on - rented time on a long arm and quilted it in about 2.5 hours. Of course, I knew NOTHING about quilting at the time so I did a bang up job. Nonetheless, it looks better on my bed than it ever did in a closet or a drawer! |
The back is just as pretty as the front, I would call this a reversible quilt!
