What a wonderful story and a gorgeous quilt! I really am glad you shared both with us. I just imagined all those devoted friends being together in a quilt group sending off their friend to a new neighborhood in Indiana. Friendship everlasting!

And you are right, that it was such a treasure in that travel and visits were not so easy as today. Treasure it! Thanks for sharing.
