Wonderful is the only word I find to fit, be a good caregiver to it. I remember seeing this type at my granny's house.

So glad you are able to keep this in the family and enjoy it. It's a beautiful piece of family history.

Hopefully the younger generation will pick up the desire to take the time and appreciate the love that goes into such beautiful work being done by so many older people? You have a treasure!

What a sweet treasure your aunt left you. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Wow! What a blessing to receive this piece of history and art!

Such a find and such a wonderful story. Both are your treasures. Be sure to keep the written story with the quilt for later relatives to enjoy. If you remember anything about any of the "signers" write those down too.

You will cherish this. I have quilts my granny and my great granny made by hand, they are priceless to me. I remember when I took the first top to my quilter to help me decide what I wanted to do with them, she told me she had never seen better hand stitching in all her experience than my great granny's. I love them.

What a wonderful legacy. Please make sure that the next generation who will receive it know the story behind it. It's beautiful!
