I initially saw pictures of this quilt online and fell in love with the design. I just had to figure out how to make it.

That quilt is exquisite! I love the design, but for me the colors make it. Did you shop for the fabric, or shop from your stash? Either way, you have a great eye for color. It looks so pretty on the bed.

wow, would I love to make this! Every block pops and it just glows :).
So did you graph it out? I have a "bundle" of fabrics to make a ? granny square? quilt. Geesh, I can't think of the correct name but it's similar. What size of your blocks? I'd like to do one around 96" square. I love your fabrics. |

Thank you everyone. To answer some of the questions -
This was made from fabrics in my stash. The strips are 2", finishing at 1.5". The quilt requires 9 sets of 8 fabrics each, and only two 2"xWOF strips of each fabric are needed. It's fun putting it together. 8 fabric strips are sewn together, then sliced into strips, then laid out and some unsewing is done. The quilt is 98" square. |
