I have been working on this since June 11th it's coming along but i'm doing it all by hand this time so it's going kinda slow.....This is my first one all by hand...what do you think? This is all I have so far, it's for a queen bed so I think I have much more to add yet.

Your quilt so far is simply amazing!! You have done quite a bit in just over a month.

I love it... all those white borders really make those diamonds pop..... slow and steady wins the race!!!! Great job...

It's beautiful, Donna. I am working on one by hand too and am enjoying it-it's easy piecing with the small size although I'm just doing individual flowers so far! I love the bright colors and the layout.

beautiful :-)

I love your diamonds. You are moving right along. My mom made a diamond one that I am copying but mine won't be done for another 10 years or more. Yours will be beautiful!

I think it is a lot of work! You are doing a beautiful job.
|
Very pretty
|
Wow you have a lot done so far. Will you hand quilt
|
That is very pretty. I started one with the intentions of doing a queen size quilt. My arm and shoulder started bothering me from doing it so much that I had to stop. So I had enough hexies done to make twelve rosettes (19 in each). I am machine appliqueing each flower to a 14 inch white on white square. I am doing quilt as you go so doing one block at a time. It will be big enough when I am finished to make a good size crib quilt.
Blessings! |
Nice job, I am also doing a 'grandmother's flower garden' by hand and it is taking me a very long time. A good traveling project.
Will post what i have done so far. |
Are you kidding me? You must be the faster sewer in the land. Those babies take some time. They're gorgeous!
|
Slow? I don't think so!! You're doing great! Beautiful!
