Thank you all for the lovely comments. Ok, the big secret about the fabric in the drawer fronts.... It looks so much better than seeing the clutter in the drawers through the glass. I wish I'd planned the color scheme from the beginning, then I'd have painted the walls a soft tan to go with all the pinks and tans. But there is no way I'm moving everything to paint. I'm using the biggest of the round band boxes to hold small WIPs. Oneother band box holds binding for quilts that are ready to be bond. Now if I just don't forget that they're in there. Out of sight, out of mind. I think I might just go in there now and stare at all the 'clean'.

About the black quilt. It's twelve blocks called Time Began in a Garden, designed by Sarah Sporrer. It was published by Indygo Junction. I bought it online as a kit of all 12 blocks and it was on clearance. So I paid less than half price. I think it was about 8 years ago. Although I think I've seen the pattern online somewhere in the last year. I added the triangle border using left overs from the kit and (naturally) buying more fabric that looked like it would go. Glad you all like it, it was one of the first ones I ever machine quilted. Black thread on black fabric is very forgiving. I'm going to hang it in the living room behind the sofa. I try to change quilts there several times a year but this one may stay put for a while since it's one of my favorites.

The ironing board got folded up. I have one of those June Taylor flip over cutting/ironing boards, I think I'll use that on top of the skirted table instead. I'll just use the ironing board for clothes (shudder) and when whole quilt is done.

Sorry I forgot to mention the size. It's 10' 1" by 13' 3". Ikea has a downloadable room planner that I played around with to see if what I wanted to do would work. Lots better than driving 300 miles roundtrip, buying stuff and finding it out it won't work. Plus it's lots of fun

I used to paint, also. Painted candles, my walls, vases, you name it - I painted it. Now my paints are sitting drying up, I guess.

Oh, yeah, I even painted flowers on my toilet lid, tank and sink cabinets.
