Just finished the top yesterday. Now I need ideas for the border. Since it's so busy I believe a tone on tone would be better but I'm not sure about what colors to use. I'm thinking maybe a beige with red or black binding. Any suggestions?

It needs a narrow black border to contain all that color, then the wider border of your choice. I like the red, tan, black or brown prints in the quilt.

Love the quilt with all the different fabrics.

I ordered the greyhound fabric from hotdiggitydog.com. They have all different dog and cat breeds and other animal fabric. The paw print and bones fabric I bought at JoAnn's about 3 years ago. (They still have the fabric - ask me how I know). The brown/black fabric I got at my LQS.

Love it and love your avatar. We may add a dog to the house and I'm torn between another Borzoi, German Shepard or rescue Greyhound. Did you have any problems when your Grey arrived? The local rescue was discouraging listing tons of problems with adjustment.

Great quilt. I would do the first border in the brown and blk mingle fabric that is in the quilt then add a couple of other borders.

I'd border with the solid black.

Love the quilt - I have a friend who has had several addopted greyhounds over the years.

My suggestion, put a small border, finished 1" in the beige fabric, with 3" finished border in black print and bind in red. I like everything about your quilt! Beautiful!!
