Here are some pictures of a group of 82 different American Hero Quilts that I quilted. Again for people pieced the quilt tops and I quilted them.

Thanks,
Sherryl

PS -
I was trying to get a good shot of all 82 American Hero quilts that I quilted in honor of what would have been my dad's 82nd birthday (just a few months after he past away). I was going to have a poster type board made up to take to his grave to show him what I did in his honor.

Beautiful - what a wonderful way to honor your dad!

You should be proud. You know that he is. What a great way to pay tribute to your father.

I would pass on the connection to your dad to the people who receive your quilts. Every one of the people that I have met who received a quilt from QOV always ask what motivated/inspired the quilt and my participation. If they have been given, drop them a note to mention your dad. I know that they would appreciate knowing that part of your story.

Fabaddict 07-27-2011 12:35 PM

Wow. WTG. And THank you for your quilting.

That is a great idea but I have never done that. I wonder if there is someplace that I could take the disc and have them transfer them to fabric?

Thanks,
Sherryl
