Here are some pictures of a group of 82 different American Hero Quilts that I quilted. Again for people pieced the quilt tops and I quilted them.
Thanks, Sherryl Candlequilter PS - I was trying to get a good shot of all 82 American Hero quilts that I quilted in honor of what would have been my dad's 82nd birthday (just a few months after he past away). I was going to have a poster type board made up to take to his grave to show him what I did in his honor. |
WOW!

What a wonderful thing you did!
Thank you! |

Beautiful - what a wonderful way to honor your dad!

You should be proud. You know that he is. What a great way to pay tribute to your father.
I would pass on the connection to your dad to the people who receive your quilts. Every one of the people that I have met who received a quilt from QOV always ask what motivated/inspired the quilt and my participation. If they have been given, drop them a note to mention your dad. I know that they would appreciate knowing that part of your story. |
Wow. WTG. And THank you for your quilting.
|
That is awesome! I just finished another American Hero top & it is ready to be quilted. But I only manage 4 or 5 a year!
|
Way to go girl! Your dad is grinning ear to ear right now!
