Whoever said 9 patches are boring is mistaken! There are so many ways to do a 9 patch. They are my favorite..sort of a "no fail" recipe for a nifty quilt.

I am not bored at all. My level of quilting is not complicated quilting, its easy, pretty quilts. Yours is beautiful, Makes me want to make one just like it!

Very nice. The only boring thing about 9 patch is sewing all the little patches together...if you cut seperate 2.5" squares. Otherwise, it's a surprise a minute when you realize the scraps you sewed together look awesome rather than questionable like you feared. Currently working on a 9 patch design where the patches go on point. So far only 1 of the scrappy patches I put together was a color combo disappointment. :-)

Your quilt is so NOT boring. It is bright and cheery and refreshing. Don't listen to that other person. You love and so do lots of others including me. In fact I work with a group that makes charity quilts for the hospital and I plan on adding that style to our repetoire in my next quilt for that is what we look for. Something to cheer up these patients and I love it.

Love the way you used them with the sashing, putting 4 springy colors together looks great, I might just have to try that with Christmas colors. I'm with you, I made a sofa throw size and it ended up being queen sized. lol

I love it and all the colors. I don't find it "boring" at all. I am making one similar only with bright colored batiks. I love the contrast of all the colors with white. Good job. Congratulations.

Simply wonderful quilt.

I really like that! Just finished the binding on a quilt similar to that my MIL made for hubby and myself several years ago. She has alzehimers now and the quilt is very special to us. We have other, more detailed quilts she made for us but, somehow this one seems more dear to us. It is all small blocks no sashings between the blocks. I know it took her an extremely long time to piece and quilt.
