Good job!!!!

How beautiful!!! That's a whole lot of work for a seasonal quilt...kudos for you.

I have a friend who makes stack and whack quilts and she always incorporates some of the original fabric into the quilt either in a border or as part of the backing so you can see what the fabric looked like before she created all the different pinwheels from it. I think this is a neat idea.

What a clever use of fun fabric. You did such a nice job.

Happy Halloween everyone! I love making stack and whack quilts, so easy and each block is a surprise. I scaled the pinwheel blocks down to 8 inches, the original stack and whack pattern in Bethany Reynolds first book makes a 15 inch block, but she has a chart on her website with different sized block cutting info. The alternating 4 patch block centers are leftover cuts from the pinwheel blocks. I've include a picture of the original fabric. I didn't buy it with a stack and whack in mind, I've had it for several years, probably paid $2 a yard for it on clearance. I sure do love the variety this print provided, it was scary good fun making this quilt!

What a great Halloween quilt. I never would have thought of making a stack and wack, but it's very creative.
