Hi Everyone! I wanted to post a picture of the quilt I just finished piecing with a variation of 30's fabrics. This quilt is 125" x 145" without the borders, so I am not able to get a full picture of it since it is so BIG!! It has taken me about a month to do all the cutting and piecing. After adding the light blue borders, I will finish the quilting with my long arm and will probably just do the meandering stitch.
Hope you all like it. Picture #1 Picture #2 Picture #3 |

That's a beautiful quilt top. The colors and style remind me of one my grandma made back in the day. Thanks for the good memory!

great job!!!! Love the fabrics together. Reminds me so much of my paternal Granny. Those fabrics could easily have been her aprons (wore one all day) or even some of her dresses.
Thanks so much for sharing |
Spectacular!

I just finished building my "dream winter vacation home" in the Colorado Rockies. This quilt is going to go on one of the King size log beds that I am having customed built for the spare rooms. I really think it will give it that "old tyme" feel to the room. Thank you all for the wonderful comments. :) |
Very pretty :D:D:D

Can't wait to see it finished. Great job
