Happy Villages

1 Attachment(s)
My friend and I decided to do a project out of Karen Eckmeier's book "Happy Villages". Neither of us had even done one before. She did the one on the cover and I picked this one and did my own thing instead of copying Karen's exact pattern.
We both had a problem at first seeing the vision but as soon as you start adding roofs, trees etc...it all came together.
I also hand painted most of the fabrics used

I love house quilts and I can see myself living in one near the water.

GreatStarter 07-23-2016 04:25 PM

Your piece came out wonderful. Love your color choices. I was lucky enough to take a class from Karen about 5 or 6 years ago. It was a lot of fun.
