Of course this is a Ricky Tims design, but I've had this floral fabric since 1995. I've made 2 other wall hangings from it which I didn't particularly like. I REALLY LOVE THIS ONE!! What would you call it?

I'd call it a really cool quilt!!!

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous!
I am in the process of trying to make my first Convergence, and read in the book, you can use floral, but I could not picture what it would look like - the answer - beautiful! Snoopy questions, 1-how big is the repeat on your fabric? 2-did you use a solid black, solid yellow, the background and the floral as a 4 patch to begin? |
Very nice I love the colors in the flora print. Good job.
|
Beautiful!!

The hardest thing is matching up all the seams when you do the second time of sewing strips. It would be easier to re-press the seam allowances so they can butt up together, then pin each seam. I tried to sew without pinning, and some of my seams don't match. You can't really see the jacquard in this close-up. |
lovely!!

It looks fantastic. Really nice.

No name comes to mind but I have a hard enough time naming my own quilts :) |

No idea for a name but it sure is an interesting quilt and the more I look, the better I like.

Wow...I really like the effect of that. Something else to at to the to-do list :)

Wow. This is one of the nicest HC that I have seen. I love it on-point. So many are done with batiks and are so busy, yours is very calming.
|
I would call it gorgeous!
|
Beautiful work Ann! The HC is gorgeous, and I love the setting triangles with their lovely mini-four patches. Beautiful quilting too!!
|
Was this a separate pattern or is it in the book? I seem to be quite smitten with this one. What was the level of difficulty? Once again, great job!
|
I call it gorgeous ! Love the main fabric

LatticeWork? That's what it reminds me of. Beautiful quilt!

I have thought about doing a convergence but thought that only Ricky Tims' fabric would look the best with it. Obviously not. This has given me inspiration to get some stuff out of my stash and start slashing. Thanks for posting.

http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&q...w=1280&bih=610 Always include the word "quilt" in the seach because otherwise you can get some really strange results. ;-) You can try to the same search at webshots, snapfish , flickr, and a pretty good number of results. It's a great way to see a large variety of different settings, layouts and border solutions. |
