piney I found this fabulous tip on this Forum http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...er-t56940.html and make a lot of borders this way now. |
That was a great idea. Yes I have bought fabric often just because it was gorgeous with no idea of what to do with it. I wonder if anyone on this board has not.

I love that fabric. You picked a great way to show it off.

I. Love Kaffe too!
What I haven't mentioned is that there is virtually no waste with this pattern as the end cuts will be made into a piano key border. |
FANtastic use of that fabric. Makes me feel like someone is using fans for a fan dance. AND yes, I have quite a few of those "to die" for fabrics on my shelf. The most I ever paid was $20 for a yard. Yes I eventually used it in a wall piece for my DD.

"[h=2]quote: "Have you ever bought a piece of fabric 'cos you love it .... "[/h]no...never...*wink wink*. kaffe fassett is a little wild for me...very likable though. i'm glad you found a pattern that you can use.

Only every time I shop for fabrics.

Good idea. Yes, I have bought fabric just 'cause I liked it. I have used some of it, but some of it I still have.
