I made my own many years ago.. Loved it -- but now I do my hand quilting on a hoop so I can get comfy on the couch.

That is a clever design. I have one that my daughter and I made similiar, but it uses nails to hold the cross pieces in place.

I have one just like that, I purchased it from a little quilt shop in Sheridan, Montana about 22 years ago. I think the husband of the lady who owned the shop made them.

I have one similar without the notches in it and use it all the time.

I added the cross pieces because those have been lost. They are just 2 x 2 inch pieces of wood. I was wondering if anyone else has ever seen one like this? |
