Thanks, it looks like it would be one piece but I wasn't sure. Recently, at our quilt guild we did a 12 inch square. The demonstrator said we had to cut off the section just before we were ready to needle turn applique. I see how that would be especially important for you on this one. So glad you showed this work of art to us. We are lucky to see it.

I just finished listening to Jennifer Chiaverini's book "The Aloha Quilt." I learned a lot from that book, both in the quilting end and also the history of the "Queen's Quilt". That is a gorgeous quilt. Also the scenery is described as absolutely awe-some, some of the food sounded delicious, Pineapple Pecan muffins. Anyhow, it is giving me the idea of doing a Hawaiian style quilt. Yours was gorgeous, too! Edie
