Pat, your quilt is stunning!!!! The fabrics are wonderful and the I love your feathered hearts!! Can you please tell me what fabric you used for your background? It looks like you hand dyed it, so I was just curious---it's beautiful and I would love to have some of it.

Oh Patti....it is stunningly beautiful, you have really worked hard on this one and you can tell, it's gorgeous..

I LOVE how you added the pieced strips on the backing, it really jazzes it up doesn't it, makes it look really contemporary :D


Your quilting is amazing, for your trapunto, did you add an extra layer of wadding where you wanted it, then quilt it? Or 'stuff' it afterwards lol?? :D

AND a BIG THANK YOU for your tip about snipping your bottom thread, it is a real pain in the but and messes up my hair when I have to rummage under the quilt to snip....GREAT TIP!!!! :D :D :D
