Ok, now for something COMPLETELY different.

It's hedgehogs. And owls. And lovebirds, and mushrooms.

I'm just going to post the whole lot of them... and ask what you think.

Mini hedgehogs, colors are called aqua, gold, and olive:

I love them all. Where did you get them? and what are you going to make?

I love EVERYTHING but the mushrooms! The Owls are my favorite!! And the first hedgehog one! Ohhhh are you going to be selling this? I WANT THIS FABRIC!!!!!! lol

I think the first hedgehog one is cute. I am interested to see what you will make with them.

Oh, I didn't order them yet! They just appeared today on Michael Miller's website, under the new products category. And I always get WAY too excited when they post pictures of the up-and-coming future groups. I admit it, I'm a junkie. I mean, I was just on their site yesterday and these weren't up.

I've posted the pictures because I truly don't understand some of the colors and designs, but then I've never been accused of being "trendy". And there's wisdom from the masses of quilters on this forum.

So if I get a positive response, then I can go ahead and order them for our shop. I don't even know when they're coming out. Probably not for a couple of months or so.

If you do order them I will definitly order some from you! I LOVE THIS!!!

As to whether or not to order for your shop, that kind of decision making is way above my pay grade! :-) I admire anyone who can pick & choose from all that's available and still have a viable shop!

Well, I don't always choose right!

And, neither do the buyers for most shops. That's why quilt shops run sales. :D

The mushrooms look very funky, but I like 'em. I like the hedgehogs too... Would make a great kid's quilt.

The more I look at these, the more I love the mushrooms. I could make a psychedelic smurf quilt using those mushrooms. LOL :) :)

they are cute, especially the hedgehogs, but i would never buy any of them.

I love absolutely all of them - that is just adorable! I am so envious of those that have access to great fabrics! I know I can get things online but I really do like the actual touching of fabric when I buy it...

Love the hedgehogs and the love birds...maybe the mushrooms. My youngest DD loves hedgehogs, so I would buy some.

The first group was OK. I really like the second group.

Love the owls. My grandmother loved and collected owls, so when I see one it reminds me of her.

I need the mushroom fabric; I'm gathering black background/bright pattern fabrics for a someday project.

Looks like some of the colors of the 70s... olive greens, mustard yellows are on the comeback.

Having grown up watching the cartoons of the late 60s and early 70s, they give me a VERY strong retro feeling...both in colours and the cartoony aspect. Pretty cool fabrics.

Love the first pic of the hedgehogs. I would buy that fabric 'cause so many colors would go with it!

I would buy the lovebirds, but the others...only if I were strictly looking for something for a child or possibly a backing if the price was right.

I might get these for children's quilts, but that's all. Not my taste, actually.

Hi I LOVE hedgehogs. I would buy the mushroom and the hedgehogs. The owls look cute. I might just buy them too. I would probably do something like a garden or zoo quilt. The first hedgehog fabric is too busy for my liking. :You must have so much fun choosing fabrics. Have a great year. ciao

I think they are horrible. About the only one I would even think about are the mushrooms for their color.

More of the retro colors again.. like the Christmas one.. same designer I think. Kids might like it if its all the rage and that is the color of the year. Might be too trendy to withstand time however on a long lasting quilt. If it goes "out" next year will someone want to continue using old colors later on? not me. I dont care much for the old style fabric on couches and wouldnt buy one. I wouldnt display a trend style fabric quilt either. just me. .. also, not a big hit pet here in CA.. we cant have them so they havent caught on yet.

I'd not buy any of these... UNLESS a student liked hedgehogs best and I needed a strip for a bookmark! :-D

I would buy the mushrooms. It would be great for placemats, table runners, pot holders.

I love the hedgehogs. I am trying to break out and buy something different this year. This would do it for sure.
