Hello kitty
 

This is my version of a Hello Kitty quilt. I have seen several on the board that I thought were adorable. When my Grandson and his wife said the new nursery was to be decorated in Hello Kitty I got to work. I just sent this off to WY yesterday as the shower is on June 1st. I tried to get photo's of the texture but hard to do. This was machine appliqued on my Husqvarna Topaz and then quilted on my HQ16. So much fun to make. I did get a coloring page of Hello Kitty from the web and had it enlarged. The rest was designed as I went. Hope you like the results as much as I do.

This is one of the cutest Hello Kitty quilts I have seen, and I do make it a point to look at most posted here. I love everything about it, the applique of kitty in fuzzy fabric (Minkee??), the great quilting, the fabric selection, minkee back and scalloped border. You did a great job "Nana"!
