Hello Spring!
 

This is my first real attempt at appliqué (opposed to raw edge stitching). I really loved doing this, but certainly could have started a little smaller! That being said, I look forward to more appliqué projects in the future.

Usually my quilts are put on my frame and hand quilted, but this one is headed to a friend for long arm quilting. Excited to see what magic she will create!

Very nicely done. Good color choice. What are the dimensions?

It is 38 x 44 ... seemed a lot larger when sewing on all those leaves!

That's beautiful & your first applique is outstanding. I love to do applique. Yours looks like it was needleturn which I have never tried before. Very, very pretty!

Beautiful applique. I'm sure those leaves took forever, but the green is certainly a wonderful complement to the pinks and purples.
