Hi Everybody, I found this great little block of the month "Hello Sun" over at http://april-makingendsmeet.blogspot.com/ . I am in no way affiliated with this site. But, I'm having a good time making the blocks. They're a blend of piecing, applique and embroidery. After the initial prep work, these little blocks make up super fast. (took me about 2 hours) I'm just really starting to get into applique. So far it's been very simple to follow. Aren't they just the cutest blocks. Are you following any fun BOM's you want to share?

You have done a wonderful job on your blocks. I am planning on doing this one also but haven't made any yet. I think I am liking your orange in the sun instead of the yellow.

There is another block of the month that you might like since you are getting into applique. Check out www.p3designs.com and go into her forum. You will have to log in with an email address but she is doing a mystery BOM this year and the first month is really pretty flowers. I also hope to do this one but seems I am trying to overload myself lol.

NEW Hello Sun BOM Blocks. March and April
 

I have new blocks to share. March with it's adorable non traditional rainbow and April with it's stormy clouds and cheerful rain drops.(April showers bring May flowers) These are so much fun to do. The group thread over on flicker has sew many cute blocks. The sun is definitely making an appearance each month. Can't wait for May.:)

Hi everybody! Is anyone here following the Hello Sun BOM. Feel free to post and share your blocks here. I'd love to see them. I'm a little bit late finishing May, but, it's done. It was a fun block to do. And June's block is another cute block as well. I will be posting it by the end of the month. Hope to see yours to! :)

I'm making them too! Here are my blocks up thru May. Just printed off the June block, it's so cute, I love the little ladybug!

I love your different backgrounds. Your blocks are awesome!! I can't wait to see them when they all come together. I also love the ladybug. It is so cute!! I don't know how I did it, but, some of my blocks are backwards. lol

Well, here's the June block for the Hello Sun BOM. I just love the cutey little ladybug. I can't wait for July's block to come out. I love how the sun is making an appearance each month and is loosely based on the holidays in that month. :)
