I like the Flying Geese border! If you can still make changes, I think they should "fly around" the quilt rather than fly in only two directions as you have them now.

I think the quilt needs a border, which could be either black or gold. The binding should be which ever of these colors you don't choose for the border.

If you have any more of that gold border fabric left, I would put a border of that round the f. geese and then bind in black. I rather like the differences between the centre work and the geese. Anyway, let us know what you decide, I think you have done a great job with this.

I think it is pretty like it is. If I done any thing diff I would put a black strip between the gold and the F.geese.
But if you do it like it is........it is way better then any thing I have done.
