I like the big flowers!

I like the brown one- I think the darker border sets off the center. Very pretty quilt, thanks for sharing!

I like jus the way it is.

Boy you are getting a varity of answers, but I really like the green. Please post a pic when it's finished.
I like the Green also, But both are very pretty, you might want to add a smaller piece of orange before the green.. well thats my thought anyways..which ever you do will be great
The green!

Your quilt is gorgeous!! I especially like the "vine" effect in the border. Could you share the name of the pattern, please?

I don't think it needs a border. The first one does it for me.
The first one brings out the colors from the center of the quilt.
The flowery border adds something to it. I like that one. At first I was going to say the binding would probably be enough but you changed my way of thinking.
I love the first dark brown fabric - it just seems to tye everything together!
Beautiful quilt. I like the light brown border and darker binding would work well. More borders would overpower the design.
Glad a decision was reached. Had an enlargement been necessary, I think a tiny, (like a flat piping)in the red, with the green border would have been the popper which would have set the Dresden vine border apart, complimenting the center fans.
Good decision

I like the first border with the larger scale prints that pull all the colors from the center of the quilt. We had a speaker at guild that said she always pulls the color of the center to the border. Makes sense to me.
The green border fabric is the same scale as the one next to it and seems a little boring having only one color in comparison to the larger scale print. |
I am beyond words!! It is absolutely beautiful!! Whatever you choose will be a great choice. I'm a beginner quilter. You really motivate me!!!
Love the flowered border....makes the whole quilt pop
Love the first one!!!
Personally, I love the green second border. The quilt is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with us. Lori

I suggest the first, larger pattern that actually looks rust-colored on my screen. It contrasts nicely with the smaller patterns right next to it.
I think the binding could be a smaller pattern that would not disappear in the narrow width. |
My opinion no more borders bind in dark brown.
Like it as is.
My goodness I usually can respond quickly to that kind of question but geesh....I really like both of them alot!! Either one would look great I think! ..WEll done my next project is going to be a dresden table runner for my living room coffee table...you have given me inspiration..WELL Done!!
Did you create your vine border on your own or is there a pattern for it?? I just love it and can't wait to hear there is a pattern... (my fingers are crossed).
thanks so much!! |
I like the floral print, but I think you have it labeled as "green." Lovely quilt!
your quilt is beautiful.I like the brown border better myself.Jan

You probably have enough opinions to thoroughly confuse you :) Just want to say, it's beautiful!
If you decide to use a border at all, I like the floral print. It makes the applique in the now outer border dance.
Love the quilt.
I agree just a brown binding.
No other border. Great the way it is

This is absolutely beautiful without additional borders. Love the colors and workmanship. This one goes on my to do list!

That is absolutely beautiful. like it is.

The second one - definitely
If it does not need to be bigger, why put a border on it? If it does need to be bigger, I like #1.
I like the brown. Beautiful quilt.
