Yes, after it is quilted, it should hide any of the puckers that don't come out when you do the blanket stitch. :)

Your quilt is going to be beautiful. Quilting will take care of the little puckers and all will be well.

I've done a number of quilts and blocks that involve circles and it's not unusual to have a bit of "puckering" around them..a couple of things happen.. when you stitch them down it will smooth out a little or when you quilt it and wash it you'll get just enough shrinkage that the puffiness of the quilting will make it so that you don't notice it much if at all.

I think that this is a case where the puckers will 'quilt out' and/or will be tamed by the blanket stitching. Unless it's the photo, I don't see anything really horrible. Beautiful start. I would just keep going.

Thank you for the encouragement and tips everyone. I had my head in hands, elbows on the table worrying over it - I will just croos my fingers and keep going!
