I must be in the minority. I like the beige. With the stripes and the larger floral, I think you have enough motion in the quilt. The being with the small green leaves just makes it a little too busy for me. MHO.

I like both but the green leaf catches my eye
Well I like both, but the beige makes the stars pop more...sorry that probably does not help!

Vote for the Small green leaves, has a flow or continuity, the plain yes makes the blocks pop, maybe a little too stark... make sense???

love your decisions so far! I also like the small leaves.. but I don't dislike the plain either.. lol, big help I am.
personally, I like the combination of both plain and leaves mixed on the quilt. Pretty pattern.
I like the green leaves.

Beige with the small green leaves.
I like the beige without the leaves. Looks too busy with the leaves to me.
I like the one with the leaves.

Love the beige with the small green leaves.

I like the beige leaf fabric. Also the cherry fabric is gorgeous. Will be fabulous when done.

It may be just my monitor but it looks to me like the sm. green leaf is replacing white. At first I thought the small green leaf popped too much but have changed my mind. I still prefer the center of the left hand block

I vote for the beige with the small green leaves. It adds interest to the quilt. It's looking good!

Another one with the small green leaves.

Beige with the small leaves!!!

Small green leaves!

I think the light green leaves give it texture that seems lacking in the lighter fabric w/o the leaves. I also think the stars are quite visible with the beige/leafy fabric, although they jump off the page with the other. But they don't seem to have the depth without the leafy fabric. Interestingly, I have some of the cherry fabric, and I'm using it with a faded brick solid and a beige with small green leaves. Not part of a line, just looked right together. Maybe that's why I like the leafy fabric. Great job on the quilt. I have never done a kit, and rarely a ready-made pattern, but they are easier to figure out! Great luck on your project. It already looks great!

For me the plain beige make the star stand out, but both is lovely.
I agree with Halo that the leaves take away from the star, but I also like the idea of alternating the stars with and without the leaves
I like the beige with the green leaves.
my vote is for both. Use the plain one for the lighter stars; use the green leaves for the darker stars. That way, it should balance out and you can still have both fabrics.
I just LOVE the leaves, so much softer and more interesting...at least to me. Good luck with your decision : )
Beige with leaves.
I like both, maybe alternate blocks!
I love the fabric with the little green leaves, but I wouldn't use it in this pattern. The seam where the flying geese will make the pattern in the fabric off... That'd make me crazy! I'd use it in a square or triangle where it isn't going to be next to another piece of the same.
Either one of these fabric looks nice, but I prefer the one with leaves.
Without the leaves. The plain fabrics make your stars pop.
Same for me, small green leaves
