I agree it is your quilt use the one that you like best. I think the plain on makes the pattern pop the best. the green leaves take you away from the pattern.

My husband and I both like the plain beige blocks. It gives a place for your eyes to rest.

Asbsolutely the one with the small leaves -- adds a little bit more dimension to your quilt...which is looking good, by the way!!

Thanks for all the responses! I am still torn, though. To me, the beige is just too startling to my eyes. I like the green leaves, but it almost makes it too busy. I am still learning! I may move the beige to the end of the yellow stars so that star stands out more! ;)
