The stripes on the tail are a detail that really enhanced it. I would try adding more of those accents to the two front legs. Then see how it looks to add tiny triangles of pink to the ears, to round out the pink of the nose and collar. Some type of eyebrow effect so that the cat looks more expressive.

Enhance (darken) the circle around the eyes, perhaps. Not so he looks like a raccoon but more definition. He's cute as can be, anyway. Love the striped tail!

Perhaps if you eliminated the black line (circle) around the eyes in the first photo, that would do it. IMHO.

Well, that took forever! That was a LOT of satin stitching to un-sew! While I love those blue eyes, I went with the "slanty-er" eyes. I mean, he's a cat caricature, so I gave him the caricature eyes.
