If you have the original you probably could reproduce it with paper, draw templates and off you go.

Do not know the name, but I like it

I have no idea what the name of the pattern is but it's beautiful. Hope you find your answer.

I'm not sure, but it looks like a pattern by Cheryl Phillips. I think the name of the pattern was WedgeWorks. Serveral years ago there was a book by Cheryl Phillips with a wedge tool included.

Beautiful. I also would like to have a copy of that pattern.

The wedgeworks doesn't seem to have the dresden on the middle

I know nothing about names of patterns, but do have a question. How was a backing put on it? Would it have been sewn right sides together, turned and then hand stitched opening shut, and machine stitching the edges? Just wondering, because before I try to draft the pattern, I have to know how to finish it.

Just use that one, make a pattern for it like you did to make this one. They will turn out just as beautiful as this one and name yours yourself.

Spartanquilter,Yes,the pointed dresden plate is how I did the center but didn't know how to connect the diamonds to the plate ( used a y seam to connect them.
