|
I don't have any advice, but I love your quilt! I can't wait to see pictures when it is done. I hope you haven't given up hope yet and keep trying.

I remember someone on the board suggesting that running the metallic thru a "peanut" works. Have not tried it yet. Perhaps you can find clear directions on here or maybe the sender will see this and write again. Good luck, I love metallic thread but it sure doesn't love me.

Ihave not quilted, but use metalic thread with my embroidery mschine. Using a silicone spray helps my work also going very slow. And a larger needle eye. Good luck, beautiful.

Hi
Sewer's aid can not be used with a computer sewing machine they have larger metallic needles for specialty threads... some times you have to put your thread on a stand a lone cone and give it more space to the machine. And sew slow |
Sewer's Aid is wonderful stuff.....and I would also slow the speed of your stitching...
|
Sew many great ideas, I'm glad to see the problem is solved, and hope I remember it for myself in the future! :)
|
I use a denim needle & go sloooow.
