I like the heart going in opposite directions,#3, plus going in opposite directions you do not have to worry about matching the 'heart seams'.

lfstamper 02-05-2012 08:19 AM

#2 for me. All are very pretty.

pandamommy 02-05-2012 08:26 AM

I really like #2 but as Grammy Dwyn mentioned #3 you wouldn't have to match seams of hearts.

ranger 02-05-2012 08:28 AM

Pretty blocks.
I like #3....but I have no idea why!!

crafty pat 02-05-2012 08:29 AM

I like #2 the best. It is going to be a lovely quilt.

BeverlyH 02-05-2012 08:43 AM

I love #1. Very pretty!

nativetexan 02-05-2012 08:43 AM

yep, number three is most pleasing to the eye. great blocks!

QuiltnNan 02-05-2012 09:10 AM

OK, I change my vote to #3

mtnative 02-05-2012 09:33 AM

I like #3. With that layout there is no definite up or down but the hearts are still easy to see.

fivepaws 02-05-2012 09:53 AM

My favorite is #2. I guess I don't think outside the box.

Peggy Jeanne 02-05-2012 10:31 AM

My vote is for number 3!

dlong 02-05-2012 12:40 PM

I like # 3. More interesting but not as busy as #1.

oh munner 02-05-2012 01:08 PM

I like number 3.

Tcharlie 02-05-2012 01:33 PM

First one.....:-)

vassarpm 02-05-2012 01:40 PM

no. 3 feels good to my eyes, great work

nellybelle 02-05-2012 02:34 PM

No. 2 for me.

serenitybygrace 02-05-2012 05:39 PM

I like #2 best, I think. #3 would be second.

mighty 02-05-2012 09:17 PM

All look really pretty but 2 is my pick.

Gilly 02-06-2012 03:54 AM

Like them all but my favorite is # 2. I am working on a similar quilt

Blinkokr 02-06-2012 05:08 AM

Like the hearts going in the opposite direction , great job and thanks for sharing
Have a Blessed day

Which appeals to you more? They are all nice.

Grandma Cindy 02-06-2012 05:28 AM

Have you tried laying them as the clock, 12, 3, 6, 9...pointing at those numbers with the bottom of the heart? Pretty blocks...

mummadee 02-06-2012 06:00 AM

All are lovely, but after going back and forth a few times, I picked #1. I liked the all over ease on the eyes, nothing seemed to jump out at you, it was most cohesive.

lillybeck 02-06-2012 06:03 AM

2 is my opinion.

Merry7110 02-06-2012 06:07 AM

I like option #2

grammysharon 02-06-2012 06:11 AM

I would add sashing to separate the blocks. Just me!

roadrunr 02-06-2012 11:08 AM

#1 for me. It will be very pretty when you are done with it!

Linnie 02-06-2012 11:46 AM

Number #3 is the way to go

char634w 02-06-2012 12:50 PM

They would all look nice, but I think I prefer #2. Show us when you decide.

pacquilter 02-06-2012 01:53 PM

2nd one wins my vote!

dd55 02-06-2012 02:39 PM

i like #2 the best.

mommessy 02-06-2012 02:53 PM

I vote for #1. Really cheerful!

MdmSew'n'Sew 02-06-2012 05:03 PM

 I like the second layout with one little addition - turn one of the blocks upside down, I did something similar and when I accidently turned one heart in the opposite direction I left it that way and called it "Follow Your Own Heart"

Mkotch 02-07-2012 04:04 AM

I like all the hearts going in the same direction. How about a very thin sashing?

A1penny 02-07-2012 04:18 AM

I really like #2 the best, but all are nice. Which ever way you finish it, it will look great when it is done.

tothenci 02-07-2012 04:18 AM

Thank you! I'll do!

Yooper32 02-07-2012 04:49 AM

Since my heart has always been mixed up and torn in several directions, I would choose #3.

quilterella 02-07-2012 04:59 AM

I like #1, which is reasonably close to what I had suggested in your first post. However, it you turn blocks 2,3 &4 in each 4 patch, you would get the pints going north, south, east and west. It wouldn't matter which way the quilt was laid because there would be no wrong way. Again, they are beautiful blocks and can hardly wait to see the finished quilt.

glorcour 02-07-2012 06:16 AM

# 1 for me - like the fact that it is not directional
Very pretty
