Thank you for your answers!!I got a lot of good opinions!
I made a new layout. Wich to lay? |
I like the heart going in opposite directions,#3, plus going in opposite directions you do not have to worry about matching the 'heart seams'.
#2 for me. All are very pretty.
I really like #2 but as Grammy Dwyn mentioned #3 you wouldn't have to match seams of hearts.
Pretty blocks.
I like #3....but I have no idea why!! |
I like #2 the best. It is going to be a lovely quilt.
I love #1. Very pretty!
yep, number three is most pleasing to the eye. great blocks!
OK, I change my vote to #3
I like #3. With that layout there is no definite up or down but the hearts are still easy to see.
My favorite is #2. I guess I don't think outside the box.
My vote is for number 3!
I like # 3. More interesting but not as busy as #1.
I like number 3.
First one.....:-)
no. 3 feels good to my eyes, great work
No. 2 for me.
I like #2 best, I think. #3 would be second.
All look really pretty but 2 is my pick.
Like them all but my favorite is # 2. I am working on a similar quilt
Like the hearts going in the opposite direction , great job and thanks for sharing
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
Which appeals to you more? They are all nice.
Have you tried laying them as the clock, 12, 3, 6, 9...pointing at those numbers with the bottom of the heart? Pretty blocks...
All are lovely, but after going back and forth a few times, I picked #1. I liked the all over ease on the eyes, nothing seemed to jump out at you, it was most cohesive.
2 is my opinion.
I like option #2
I would add sashing to separate the blocks. Just me!
#1 for me. It will be very pretty when you are done with it!
Number #3 is the way to go
They would all look nice, but I think I prefer #2. Show us when you decide.
2nd one wins my vote!
i like #2 the best.
I vote for #1. Really cheerful!
 I like the second layout with one little addition - turn one of the blocks upside down, I did something similar and when I accidently turned one heart in the opposite direction I left it that way and called it "Follow Your Own Heart"
I like all the hearts going in the same direction. How about a very thin sashing?
I really like #2 the best, but all are nice. Which ever way you finish it, it will look great when it is done.
Thank you! I'll do!

Since my heart has always been mixed up and torn in several directions, I would choose #3.
I like #1, which is reasonably close to what I had suggested in your first post. However, it you turn blocks 2,3 &4 in each 4 patch, you would get the pints going north, south, east and west. It wouldn't matter which way the quilt was laid because there would be no wrong way. Again, they are beautiful blocks and can hardly wait to see the finished quilt.
# 1 for me - like the fact that it is not directional
Very pretty |
