Well, basically what you do is sew a bunch of charm squares (5") together and put a 3" border around. Then you use the template to cut on the lines and sew them back together. Voila! That is what you get. Lots of fun because you never know what it will look like in the end. You can also get a template (in this case make one) to make twisters with layer cakes (10" squares). I want to do that soon, but Christmas is getting in the way of my sewing for fun.

Mine ended up 18 1/2" x 27 1/2". When I have time (ha ha ha) I want to calculate how many charms to make a certain size, ie lap quilt or long table runner. I guess if I spent the $19.95 on her book I wouldn't have to do my own calculating. But since I am on a spending diet.....

That is very nice! I tried it, but mine didn't turn out half as nice. I cut my own squares and used too many busy prints! But the process was enjoyable!
