Here is what I have done so far. I think it looks horribly messy. All the stitching is crooked and wavy...but at this point...it's adding serious character to my quilt. I have enough of a border to do a nice large scallop border. I have an idea of how I'm going to do it, and with the help of my Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting, I have step by step instructions.
For those of you who have done large scallop borders...what are your tips and secrets to a beautiful border? |
