it has been a while since i've had time to make anything but very small and simple quilts for my donation pile. i think this the only major project i've started this year. (and i still have a sizable stack of UFOs left over from last year. :lol: )
i started the quilt in mid-May, so it took quite a while to make.
i get up very early every morning. i usually have a few hours of quiet time to work on projects before i leave for the office. i worked on this one nearly every day before work and during most weekends.

very, very impressive. the two-color theme really brings it home.
what size are the hexes?
edit: i like that it has no border. a border would have spoiled this one. imo.

It is beautiful and masculine at the same time. The hex's give the feeling of giant rick rack to me. Great one
