So somewhere between an hour glass and a spider web, sounds like a tangled time to me. I can almost hear the fly crying "Help me... help me."

Whatever it is called,
it sure is pretty! :) |
Thanks, I'm sifting through block books and sites trying to find the name still and imagine I'll eventually run across it. It's amazing how much can be done with a little imagination. :D

look a lot like these http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/847.page with a little log cabin  thrown in

Steve, I think you should name it. Also, in another post, you were wanting us to name some great male quilters. Steve comes to mind. You are really exceptionaly, and not because you are a man.

Thanks, and aw shucks Norah, but I see that the quilts Ruth linked have the same pattern even though not two toned, so indeed there is a block out there bearing some name already. :D
|
I have seen a number of blocks similar to yours, but they all have a different name. It appears that the artist who creates them gets to name them....... I can't wait to see a picture when you get it done and also to know what you decided to name it :D

Very nice, black & white. How about black with white poke-a-dots and white with black poke-a-dots....for the adventurer in you.
 |
Mmm, I like polka dots, but they wouldn't really mesh with the picture I have in my head. The trouble is of course that you've implanted a seed, so I'm sure they are bound to come out in the work somewhere. HA!

" Tangled Time" sounds like a great name to me. Either for the block or the quilt.
