Nice quilt and great idea for the binding.

Nice quilt I'm sure the graduate will love it. I use a similar trick for binding my quilts except I use a large spool from thread that I wind my binding on and then put a long piece of jute or twine and hang it around my neck same procedure otherwise as you.

Great quilt and binding buddy! Isn't it great to not have to wrestle the binding from under your chair and off the floor? I made myself one with a section of pool noodle (with the center hole) instead of the TT roll.

That's a good idea--could make it a bit longer that way!

I thought I recognized those OSU Cowboys! That's a great quilt! I'm sure the grad will love it! Is s/he headed to Stillwater? I'm so glad the binding trick really does work as I have some things that need binding & I sure get tired of wrestling the loose binding. I'm going to try that! Thanks!

Yes, that's where he plans to go--may take a detour via Jr. College first!

Yes--those are a few of mine. My kids gave me that lovely display case for Christmas a couple of years ago. I love it.

I use the TT roll, but I hadn't thought about making a hanger to put around my neck though. I've got to try this! Beautiful quilt you did, the grad's going to love it!
