since i live in a largely Jewish community, most of my friends are Jewish so i made them table toppers, along with pot holders and White Trash candy ( google it, it's yummy)
thanks for looking

How pretty. I'm not Jewish, but I sure like these. Can I ask what pattern you used?, and perhaps copy you? :)

Moedeenie 10-20-2011 07:58 AM

Wow Lynnie!! These are very pretty. You are one hard working lady. I love your idea for gifts. I am doing table runners and bed runners this year as my little handmade gifts.

it's the spider web pattern, prob a tute for it, but i don't know how to get it for you, maybe someone here can help.

Rhaorth 10-20-2011 08:44 AM

this looks like it might be it....

http://www.ludlowquiltandsew.co.uk/S...lt_Patter.html

or at least it will point you in the right direction (this is actually for blocks that fit together to make the spiderweb quilt)

looks like the spider web done in the OP would be done via strip piecing and cutting into triangles
(sheesh I almost sound like I know what I am talking about LOL)

Great Gift Ideas... I have a pattern like this that I printed off the internet through this board. I guess I need to check my 3 ring binders to see if I still have it, I forgot about how quickly they go together. Yours are very pretty!

MimiLinda 10-20-2011 12:28 PM

Those are great, love the pattern. Wouldn't mind having one myself, and I'm not even Jewish. Thanks for sharing. ;)

Very nice

There a tut . Some one posted a link to it over the weekend. I sat down and made two. I made one with 4 fabrics and one with 5. When you sew with 5 it does make it bigger but with the odd number one of the fabrics makes a complete circle. I made the binding from that same fabric and liked the way it turned out.

I would love to see a picture to be able to compare the 4 & 5 strip topper. Thanks!

Your table toppers are super cute. Those receiving will love them. I googled your recipe and wow there are lots. I saw one that is perfect for Halloween. I just made Halloween Snack Mats and I think I will make it to go with the mats for the 5 little goblins I am giving the mats to. Thanks for the idea.

Nanaquilts44 10-21-2011 06:26 AM
