Well the husband is home and I am glad to see him. After our hug he said the words that brought me back to earth, I'm hungery. After his sandwich he decided he needed a nap.

So I rushed to the sewing room and finished my quilt. Here is the finished top. Thanks for letting me share with you all. And thanks for all the kind AT AGIRLS.

I missed out on the first part, but gather that hubby was gone for a time.... and that is what you accomplished!
It just seems to have alot of movement in it, and I think that is neat! A job well done!

DH hasn't look in my sewing room yet. He came home with a terrible muscle spasm in his back, from sitting 12 hrs. a day looking at basketball, BUT our high school CMR, took home the trophy, Yea.

katier825 03-15-2010 02:29 PM

That looks great! I was curious what you'd decide to do. It's perfect!

dsj 03-16-2010 02:48 PM

You must have been listening to some crazy music while putting that quilt together. It is really cool, were you listening to Billy Idol?

charismah 03-16-2010 02:57 PM

adrianlee 03-16-2010 04:22 PM

Love your quilt. Glad to hear your hubby is home now.

Lilaciris 03-16-2010 05:49 PM

I would love to make this, possibly as a full size quilt.

I'm sure it could be done, with enough of the material.

Can I get some estimates from you guys?

SuzyM 03-16-2010 06:54 PM

Girl I have to tell you this just blows me away

zz-pd 03-16-2010 07:28 PM

The quilt I finished had 4 blocks total. The pattern was for 1 block, with 5 colors of fabric and I used 1 fat quarter for each color. I know this is not a very good answer to your question but I hope it helps.

JCL in FL 03-16-2010 08:25 PM

Neat the way you put the geese in the border. Nice quilt,

Lilaciris 03-17-2010 06:17 AM

Did you use a FQ of each color for each block, did one FQ have enough for all 4 blocks?

Oklahoma Suzie 03-17-2010 06:28 AM

Very cute.

dkabasketlady 03-17-2010 08:45 AM

AWESOME!!!

I used 1 fat quarter for each color ( 5 colors in one block). One block measures 18 1/2".
