Thank you Eddie, for posting all these wonderful pics - so many gems amongst them, though I didn't notice any rosettes. I would have given all of them a rosette. No wonder you thought the drive was worthwhile. I was even enjoying the snippets of quilts peeking out from underneath some of the others, or laying on sheets on the floor between the stands.

Oh WOW! They are all spectacular. What a treat to get to see them even it it wasn't in person. Thanks for sharing.

Your pics are beautiful, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw # 142, One year ago I won a blue ribbon at the local Mohave Co fair here in Arizona for the same tree of life quilt, only I bound it in white, Took me about a year to quilt it , I have had it for 10 years in stages of putting together, I had a problem tho with the little blue dots to follow the quilting lines , They would not come out in washing , otherwise I was considered for the best of show, I only joined your forum today, this is my   first post

Absolutely beautiful quilts! What a lovely way to spend a Saturday! Thanks for sharing.
Eddie, Thanks for the posting of these pictures. My grandparents and my dad lived in Hope, Arkansas until the mid to late 1930s at which time they moved to Benton. My grandfather always enjoyed knowning about the latest technology around him, but when he passed away in the 70s none of us could have known that his granddaughter would be enjoying a quilt show from that area on a computer screen in her home. He and my grandmother would have loved these quilts.
Wow, that there are a lot of great quilts. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the show! All it needs is popcorn
Thanks Eddie. Those pictures are awesome!! Beautiful Quilts :!:
OMG!! What beautiful quilts. Thanks, Eddie, for posting the pictures--I felt like I was at the show. I look at these quilts and don't know whether to be inspired or intimidated; I'll never reach that skill level. I know--practice, practice. Thanks again (she says as she cringes at the WIPS and UFOs around her)

Eddie thanks for sharing, all the quilts are stunning. I love quilt 139 (the first one shown) it appears several times in the show. Does anyone know the pattern name?
So many of these were mind-blowing. I'll be back to look at them more slowlt later on.
Thanks for posting the wonderful quilts. It must have been a great show. Glad that you were able to attend.
I love going to quilt shows. There is nothing like actually being there, but this was close. Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. I was drooling the whole time.
Aren't those called "French Braid" quilts?
Oh thank you so much for taking the time to post these pics. There are so many beautiful quilts. I can see why you thought it worth the trip.
For someone like me who is still fighting just to get pointy points, those quilts are mind boggling!
Thanks for taking the time to share. |
You're welcome everyone, I'm glad you liked them. I particularly liked the following one. Does anyone know what this pattern is called?

Beautiful pictures of awesome and amazing quilts - thanks! I, too, will be back to look at them again.
Sorry, don't know the name.
Thanks for posting all those gorgeous pictures. I always lean toward the scrappies and there were quite a few you posted. What I would give to be able to drive an hour and half to go to a quilt show. So glad you enjoyed the show and shared with us here. |
Fat Quarter Friendly from Fons and Porter's For the love of Quilting Magazine has a similar quilt called Scrappy Star on page 101. Same stars, but not set on point like your picture. This is one I really like, too!
Also, NorBanaquilts has a picture of this quilt as her avatar... maybe she knows! |

I believe that quilt block is the 'hunter's star'. See what you think. http://www.quilterscache.com/H/HuntersStarBlock.html |

Wow, what a wonderful quilt show, thanks so much for sharing with us.
I'm not sure but looking at your quilt it kind of reminds me of a Hunter Star, would anyone else agree? Muriel |
Where to start Eddie !!!!! I can't choose a favourite - they are all so beautiful in their own special way. Thanks for taking the time to post & share with us all here.

Thanks Eddie, I needed that. There is nothing like a Good Quilt Show Fix on Monday Morning to get your creative juices flowing.
Gee ... I don't know how I missed this, eddie.
What a neat show. It is just wonderful and like everyone said hard to choose a favorite. I suppose if I were to pick just one, it would be the appliqued baltimore at the begining of the "show". Wow that had to take years to do. |
