oma66 01-26-2011 09:09 PM

I like this very much and want to see it when you have it completely done. It is a winner!

TeesMeema 01-26-2011 09:25 PM

Love your idea, are these your horses? I just might do something like this for our horses. Your quilt is just so so cute!! :P

jackied 01-26-2011 11:11 PM

Nice, I've noticed there are not a lot of horse or western quilts on here. Being from Texas I really like them. I've got blocks done for an applique cowgirl/boy quilt. Just need to get it together.

I've noticed the same and I will love to see your quilt when you get it together :) I have a pattern I bought for a boot quilt that is in my wish list to complete. This is the first item I have quilted for myself. Im hoping to get all three of my grandchildren quilts made before summer. Then will start on making quilts for my children. And some where in there I will make my boot quilt for me :) .. People always tell me Hey I like your hat then they ask me if Im from Texas. LOL .... I say nopers but I root for the Cowboys

Cowgirlup 8-)

I'm new to the board and I love this quilt! Is there a pattern I can purchase or download?
I have two horses (one appaloosa and one morgan/QH) that I adopted in June 2010 (after 25 years without horses!)
I look forward to chatting more with all of you in the future.

I havent thought of a names for them..but they certainly do need them. The one in the middle will definitely be Lucky because he looks like the horse I owned when I lived in New Mexico. I currently dont own any horses so these will be my lovely's to look at. :)

Im pretty sure that would break some copyright law. Im not too crazy about breaking the law. The book with this pattern and lotsa of others can be bought on ebay for about ten bucks that is where I purchased my book after seeing this pattern completed from another member on this board. The book has been out in circulation for awhile so Im sure you can find a bargain on it

amma 01-28-2011 10:43 PM

I love it :D:D:D

ssterchi99 02-14-2011 05:20 AM

I love it. Do you mind telling the name of the pattern? and how to find it. I live in a log home and everything is western. Now I want to do a barn quilt. They are beautiful also.

Jenniky 02-14-2011 05:26 PM

The pattern and templates are in this book...

I need to get busy and finish the quilting on my horses in the barn.

Let me know when you get finished..would love to see how yours turns out. :)

barnbum 02-14-2011 05:36 PM

Yes--hurry--I want to see the manes!! If it's easier than the pattern's direction I need to learn your way! :-D

I FINALLY got the CORRECT barn roof pieces cut out tonight for the three 2-stallers I'm making. Gosh--what an idiot I am to not see that fold line. Ugh!

Country1 02-14-2011 05:38 PM

Love it!
