Im still working on the quilting but I wanted to show off my horses. Once I am done with the quilting and binding. I will add fringe for the manes and some silver buttons on the halters. :-D

awe, this is just too cute!

It is so cute. To the bay in the middle add black fore lock and you would have our mustang, Termite, add a tiny star to that and you would have Last Chance our Morab. To the palomino add cream forelock and a long star and you would have my Haflinger mare Poptart.

I was just talking about this yesterday to my sister..lol I made one like this a couple of years ago and then we ended up moving and it has not made an appearance yet.(I'm thinking it is in the bottom of my cedar chest.) Guess I will go check now.

Can anyone share the pattern for this? I have a good friend going into surgery at end of Jan. and this would be nice to give here when she got home.

JAGSD 01-26-2011 10:11 AM

It came out in a magazine a couple of years ago. I will check, but bet Jenniky has it right with her so will check back later if I find my copy.

I learned from my DGD that the silver buttons are called Conchos. Perhaps small silver buttons Would enhance it.
