Here's a hot pad I made with my quilting friendship group. I chose these fabrics because they looked very colonial to me. It's about 14" square. It has Insul-Bright in the middle, and I can't wait to use it with a big hot tureen of soup on my table!!
Also, here's an 8" square pot holder that I paper pieced the center of. The pattern and other vegies too is on Quiltmaker.com. I like the colors together. |

The pot holder pattern is on Quiltmaker.com. The hot pad came from my friend, and she drew it up on her own, I think. You could put anything in the middle of it. I don't remember the dimensions we cut...we were so busy talking and cutting and sewing!! LOL Anyway, you could do any size...it wouldn't be hard to draft it up.
