you could put tied pink ribbon bows in the center blocks, by the way that is so cute

It's really cute as is! Any girl baby would love being wrapped in that quilt. And I bet she will drag it around for years and years! I love the rick rack idea, but it's sweet as it is! What cute fabrics! And perfect for dog loving folk!

I think your quilt is great as it is.

I CAN tell you what my sister did in a like situation. She put lace all around the outside, leaving the lace loose to act as a frill.

Eyelet trim sounds good to me.

I sometimes have used eyelit lace or a ruffle if I want it to be more girlie.

As a girl, I can say that I would PROUDLY wrap my baby girl in your quilt ... (no sexism in these old bones! LOL) <wave>
oh, all right ... a bit of rickrack and some lace and ribbon would probably not detract too much <g>

great idea.

I really think it's cute as is. However, you could add some cotton eyelet lace in the binding.

I think it's just perfect how it is....maybe some red rick rack, but that's about all. Very cute design...they will really love it.
