As far as quilting design, if you did a matching thread, you could do something like this all up and down it...

Love your quilt I would do the blue thread on the brown & the brown on the blue. I would do random/sizes of circles to play on the squares

not the one to ask here - can never decide how to quilt a top but your quilt is so pretty. wonderful gift!

I agree with keeping the quilting to straight lines to keep with the modern look and also using thread color same as the fabrics, brown on brown and blue on blue. The quilt is beautiful as it is and doesn't need to be enhanced by the quilting!

Lady Shivesa has the same train of thought as mine - keeping it geometric, or maybe even a Greek key, would maintain the modern feel.
