It all looks awesome, great Hubby.

happymrs 01-17-2012 03:44 PM

Ahh, cool, looks great! We live in a split level, so our front entryway has a landing, then stairs up, & stairs down. It's kind of a gallery area too, & I want to hang a bunch of my finished quilts there, like this, but haven't yet. Your pics are very inspiring, what a sweet hubby for doing this for you! A pleasant surprise, I bet!...

emmy 01-17-2012 05:00 PM

What a wonderful display of your quilts. I bet that brought a big smile. I would appreciate some information about how he attached them to the wall? Thank you.

joyce888 01-17-2012 05:07 PM

Wonderful display! I would like to see a frontal pic of your "floral log cabin?"

He used push pins. I almost fainted on the log cabin. (quilt hangers have been ordered)
I may just keep the small ones hung like that. They are pinned in the binding. I plan to trade them out when the mood strikes.

He did a great job, how thoughtful!!!

Chicca 01-17-2012 06:51 PM

I love what he did! It really has inspired me to create some quilts to just hang up. Thank you for sharing.

Taughtby Grandma 01-17-2012 07:05 PM

That is super, he thinks so much of your quilting he wants to put it up so everyone can see it! I like all of them I can see.

qltnmom 01-17-2012 08:12 PM

He did a great job. Is he available next weekend? I have lots of quilts that need to be hung around the house. ;-)

ilovetosew 01-17-2012 08:27 PM

Love the gallery! You should not push tacks thru your fabric, but sew a sleeve onto the back and just put the tacks into the wall.

Essiescott 01-17-2012 08:36 PM

He really did a wonderful job. I think he nailed the look.

quilt queen 2 01-17-2012 08:44 PM
