I think it would make a great pillow with neutral color on back.

I started a quilt for my daughrer with that pattern, used stash and made a wall hanging, turned out beautiful!! Now trying to decide if I want to make a big quilt with the same pattern, or use another one.

You could also do placemats if a few more are do-able.
|
try it as a paper-pieced pattern. maybe it'll go faster that way and encourage more great blocks from you. you did such a great job, don't get bored with it now.

Thank you Butterflywing.
I'll just take 1 block at a time Maybe I'll end up with a quilat after all. |
Your Hunter Star is stunning along with being very well constructed. However I know how the pattern can try one's patience. I made a two color, king sized Hunter Star using the Jackie Robinson pattern and then immediately went into the sanitarium. But before my "rest stay", I sent a photo of it to Ms. Robinson's site -

Belles, Your Hunter Star quilt is gorgeous.
I guess I'll be joining you in the sanitarium!! :D  And thank you |
I have Deb Tucker's ruler and pattern for Hunter's Star. It is so easy with the ruler. I met her and bought the ruler/pattern from her at the Vermont Quilt Festival in June. She is a great lady. I've since made a small place mat, which came out very nice by following her directions. So easy!
