About a month ago I posted a picture of some fabric that I needed to finish my Hunter's Star quilt top. I'd been looking for more of the dark blue bali and when I finally accepted the fact that it just wasn't going to happen, I found something else that I think works well and even though it's not as large as I wanted, it's ok and I'm happy with it. Now, how to quilt this? That is the questions! :-)

Joanne-what a beautiful quilt. I too am in the process of making one and have had so much fun with this quilt. I used batiks also and I have to say ours are so similar! Did you frame it in black? This is a really hard type of a quilt to quilt plan...I think anyway.

For me...or my personal opinion I think there are two ways to do this....

One would be to play up the lights and darks. I would go through and quilt all the white areas in one design. Then I would go through and quilt all the dark areas in another design...then I would pick a complimentary border design.

The second option would be an all over type of design to soften the points. I am interested to see what others think. :thumbup:
