I had time to finish my Blue Bayou BOM, like Izy, it's been 2 years in the making.
Now to get a new bedskirt and curtains! |
Kathy, that would win a ribbon (blue) in any quilt show! Gorgeous!

Oh Kathy that is absolutely beautiful, I love everything about it. :D How touching that you can replace some of the sad memories of something so devastating as hurricane Ike by finishing something so special as this quilt - you will have many new memories attached to this as EVERYBODY is going to be commenting on this post ...its perfect, well done Kathy :D :D :D

How beautiful - that braided border is great.
How is everything else going? |
thank you girls for your kind comments, our little community is cleaning up pretty good, it won't look the same for a very long time to come but we're snapping back nicely. Not so for the little town next to us called Oak Island, it's another small fishing community and it was hit very hard, like the pictures you may have seen of Galveston, there are very few houses left there, it's very very sad.
|
The quilt is beautiful. And cheers to you for having a positive attitude about the hurricane.
