The deadline to enter quilts in the contest was yesterday. Well, since I posted on Friday, this has been my weekend, while trying to beat the deadline:

Friday work from 7:30 AM - 10:30 PM. Saturday work from wake up til 6 PM. Sunday church from 9:30-12:30 and 4:45 - 10:00.

Also, I had to reprint the border and label. And had to run to JoAnns for different skin color thread, as the one I had planned to use, didn't show up at all against the background fabric (it would have worked on the original planned quilt).

But, I did get done - with 35 minutes to spare! Whew!

Yes, here it is. Notice it is backwards (I decided I liked the back side of the quilt better than the front).

My daughter doesn't like pics of herself, but she liked the hair! LOL

Oh, she did like the quilt - just not the subject. She said she thought the kids would like a portait of them.

So, now I have another "to-do"!
