That is absolutely beautiful. Ok, I have to try this... I'm still on all the "Beginner" quilts in a book I bought (not paper piecing)... hmmmm
Your block is beautiful, I haven't dived into the world of paper piecing yet. and you are lovely also.
great job. I love paper piecing, it is so precise and the points you can make with such precision! Keep up the great work, you will find there are tons of books and web sites for paper piecing. Check out www.wendyvosters.com she has some free patterns.

Aww thanks guys! Any similarity to audrey in anyone's eyes is the sun and moon to me! I am quarter Belgian....hmmm lol.
Actually Lisa I've been doing embroidery and cross stitch since I was a wee one. That's what I originally bought the red fabrics for--I was going to embroider all my birdie drawings like from my bag. I like the way the block looks all together on the cache site but maybe i'll use them as a quiting pattern on it....Hmmmm mucho to ponder!! |
I knew I liked you Ady LOL You soo have to come for a weekend sometime so we can embroider and piece blocks (before the chicken though, we don't want finger prints LOL)
oooooooooooooooooh I like that one!!!!!! feel free to send it my way!! :) I'll give it a nice home :)
Wonderful block! I am glad you liked paper peicing. I tried it once, didn't like it. Maybe I will try again some day.
really? It was super easy i thought. maybe it's just me. then again i cant seem to get traditional piecing down good!
thanks andrea! coming from you that means a lot! |
Congrats! I still don't know how to paper piece.
You would definitely give Audrey a run for her money! Isn't paper piecing fun? I waste a bunch of fabric, but I love it!
