I Did It Just By Looking At Picture-

I saw a picture of a quilt kit in one of the quilting magazines. I really liked it and then I thought...I can make that...and so I did. Drew it out on graph paper and figured out how many squares and HST's I would need. Since I needed to make a baby (actually 1 year old) quilt anyway, I thought this would be bright and cheerful and still be able to be used as she grew up. Just have the top done today and will send to LAQ as soon as I get the backing cut out.

Definitely show us the finished quilt when you get it back. You are one smart cookie to figure it. I've done that before and it can really work my brain! I love those colors.

Great quilt. I'm sure glad that I'm not the only one to see a pattern I like and then reverse engineer it. Of course sometimes, mine come out as a near miss. :)
